The Italian language has rightfully been chosen as the one suitable
for communicating with beautiful ladies. It is really beautiful and
melodious, easy to learn and to understand by ear. But even if you are
fluent in Italian, there are some facts about the language, which you
probably did not know. Italian belongs to the Romance languages and is
descended from the vulgar (folk) Latin which was the everyday language
of the Roman Empire during its decline. All the words of the Italian
language, with the exception of some of articles and prepositions, end
in a vowel. Moreover, the surnames of the inhabitants of Northern
Italy end in “i” while those in Southern Italy end in “o”.
