The official language of Russia is Russian. By the tenth century, three Slavonic language groups had emerged: Western, Southern and Eastern. Eastern Slavonic gave rise to the modern languages known as Ukrainian, Belorussian and Russian. There are no dialects in Russian language throu there are regional accents such as Moscow regional accent and dialects of other major cities like Perm, Volgograd, Ekaterinburg ect.
