The question is by no means trivial or rhetorical. Experience shows
that most people (I mean the average person who likes his/her job) get
bored with everyday routine. It would seem: your work brings you
satisfaction and though at the same time you dream of greater profits
you should be happy with your present day job! And still you get tired
in the harness of repeatability. I wonder if it is a problem which
concerns everybody or only the select few?
If your work is creative, it requires imagination the source of which
becomes exhausted with age. But professional voice-talents are the kind of people
who do not experience crisis and whose imagination continue working
regardless of years. At any rate, this is the opinion. But in fact …
If we remember numerous poets, composers, writers, singers and other
personalities whose names once were on everyone’s lips, then on
somebody’s lips and then completely forgotten, their creative lives
testify irrefutably to the fact that perpetual motion machine is
figment of imagination but not a voice of truth. Nothing is stable in
this world. But do not be disappointed. If you feel too tired today
you will regain strength per night, if you experience crisis in the
evening the morning will bring inspiration.
